Newbie Coffee Chat - LW MEMBERS ONLY

Hi Newbies!

It's been awhile since we have written you. We're still around. Robin and I have good news just to keep you on your toes! This is a reminder of our scheduled "Newbies Chat". This gathering is beneficial for all new Living Water homeschoolers, but is especially helpful to the "First Time Homeschooler". It's a Q & A time, a stress-release time and, our all-time favorite, a time of encouragement. If you're in need of a "time-out", do come!

DATE: Monday, March 1st
TIME: 7:15pm - ???
PLACE: Borders, Rt. 73 opposite the Promenade Shopping Center
WHY: To refresh our weary souls

Will you join us? We would love the opportunity to relax, laugh, sit and simply chat. Don't forget to RSVP.

Blessings,
Judie Renaud (jlrladybug@yahoo.com) & Robin Young (cochisecr@aol.com)

Greetings From a Newbie Homeschooler!

Greetings from a newbie homeschooler!

If you had told me 10 years ago that today we would have 4 children and be homeschooling, I would have had a good laugh thinking you were telling me a joke.  But, here I am, and my life is quite different from how I’d pictured it would be at this point.  We are now into our 7th month of homeschooling.  I wish I could tell you that I have had so much fun, but that would not be completely truthful.  In fact, the first several weeks of start-up were very stressful for me and to a lesser degree, for my husband.  I have thought about homeschooling for several years and felt God putting it back onto my plate one year ago.  I remember calling Robin Young about something unrelated to homeschooling, and then the conversation turned to just that.  And well, let us just say, the rest is history.

A Special Thank You to Living Water's Newbie Coordinators

Greetings, friends.

Did you know that Living Water had 55 new member families this year?!

More importantly, did you know that Robin Young and Judie Renaud assumed the daunting task of helping these brand new home educators?  They hosted a workshop, had regular coffee chats at Barnes & Noble and fielded countless questions over the year.

We all recall when we started out on our homeschool journey.   It is overwhelming, and one can well-imagine the comfort and blessing Judie and Robin have been to these freshman moms.

Because I serve on the board of ENOCH of NJ, our state homeschool organization, I am familiar with many different support groups throughout the state.  This active mentorship of new homeschool moms is unique and exceptional.

Thank you, Robin and Judie, from the bottom of my heart for the service you have offered to the new families in our group

Leadership Faith Statement

The Holy Bible is the inspired and infallible Word of God. It contains His completed and final revelation to man. We do not endorse or encourage the use of any teaching that conflicts with what is contained in it. The Holy Bible in its original form is without error in its entirety. The Word of God has been and will remain the ultimate authority as we seek His wisdom in representing His group in a way that honors and magnifies the name of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

Mission Statement

Living Water Home Educators is composed of homeschool families in Burlington County, NJ and surrounding areas who come together to support one another. Each family that homeschools is an independent, private school that has the freedom to install the beliefs and values that we, the parents, feel are most important to our children. Since this group is not affiliated with any one particular church, we feel it is important for you to know where the leadership of this group stands so that you can feel comfortable participating in the activities and events we offer.
